Could this be the end of an era? The era where regular Joe’s can instantly walk out of an AD and immediately see a heavy profit from a popular watch model? With the watch market being pummeled in prices along with the stock market, cars, and even real estate. It’s no surprise that the prices have cooled down. The watch market in particular saw exponential price gains in the first quarter of this year that put prices at an almost impossible to comprehend level. Now that things are coming down or correcting I feel that prices will come back to where they were last year which were still high but healthy. This correction is going to spell disaster for many fly by night watch dealers and profiteering over night watch flippers. Could this be the end for them?
