Three luxury watches worth more than P18 million that were allegedly stolen from a French national at the NAIA Terminal 1 have been recovered, Senator Raffy Tulfo said.
Tulfo said the alleged thief had sold the watches to a shop in Baclaran for only P120,000.
The incident occurred on October 20 at the airport’s Grab pickup area.
The senator confirmed that the recovered items are now in his possession and will be returned to French national Anthony Boukhors once he comes back to the Philippines.
