It may be tough underneath but on the deck the 44 is all about fun in the sun. It has big, comfortable lounging areas at both ends of the boat with hi-lo tables in the cockpit that can drop to create another sunbathing area. The big wet bar behind the helm contains a big fridge, storage lockers, a sink and BBQ cook top. It’s even got built in bottle openers so you can crack a beer.
The four-person helm is the perfect place to enjoy the 44’s up to 50-knot performance, with full protection because the windscreen meets the forward end of the T-top. Being hewn from metal, everything feels really solid too.
Below, there is sleeping space for four and a separate bathroom, though it’s not all that spacious.
Engine options include twin or triple sterndrives our triple outboards if preferred, with the most powerful ones good for a 57mph top speed.
