Today we are discussing the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust. This stainless steel and white gold piece is 36mm across the round of the case and wears more like a cushion case. At only 12mm thick, it can be easily worn with a dress cuff or tight sleeve. From lug to lug, it measures 44mm.
The Rolex Jubilee bracelet is 5 link and more formal. It wears quite comfortably on the wrist with smaller sized links and micro-sized intermediate links. Contrasting polished and satin finishes add aesthetic quality.
The dial is a beautifully preserved sunburst silver and looks just as it did when it was produced in Geneva in 1990. It splits the difference between a dress and sports watch as well as the difference between a late model watch and a vintage watch.
A solid caseback with satin finish covers a Rolex manufacturer caliber 3135. It has a 45-48 hour power reserve and features a dual-anchored balance bridge with a free sprung balance for resistance again timing deviations. As always, this Rolex meets COSC chronometer specifications.
