In today’s video, I unbox my very first (and second) luxury purchase ever! I don’t think I need to explain myself, however, I know that some of you will be curious about why I spent so much money. Let me briefly explain:
Birthdays suck. I hate them. I get extra depressed around my birthday every year, and so every year I save up money for a big trip where I can pretend to be someone else and live somewhere else for a few days. Last year, for my big 25th celebration, we had flights/hotel/park passes booked for Disney World and Universal. Unfortunately, we had to cancel everything because of the pandemic, so I saved all of the refunds + spending money I had for the trip and hoped to do something better with it in 2021.
Fast forward to now. My 26th birthday is in two weeks (May 2nd) and I once again cannot imagine traveling anywhere in this climate. I don’t foresee us traveling anywhere anytime soon, especially not before we are vaccinated. So, here I am. I decided to spend all of my saved vacation money on two things: 1) I paid off my credit cards (YAY!!!), and 2) I bought my dream wallet + agenda.
And now you get to watch me unbox the Emelie wallet from #LouisVuitton, as well as the LV Desk Agenda, which I purchased secondhand from #Fashionphile. I was also curious to see if Fashionphile was a legit site for luxury purchases, so I hope this video helps answer that question if you were wondering the same thing! All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. I feel no guilt because I saved up for a long time and did not accrue any new debt (I actually paid off all my outstanding consumer debt), so I’m just going to enjoy these pieces while I can.
I also did not make this video with the intention to brag. I sincerely hope it does not come across that way. Unboxing videos are so fun to watch, and my only goal is to provide you with something fun and relaxing to enjoy. Not to mention that watching reviews/unboxings of these items was really helpful to me when I was deciding what to buy and where I should buy it from.
