Inside The $600 Million Airbus A380 Private Jet

Today, we are going to look at the world’s most luxurious and expensive jet: the Airbus A380 private jet. This jet belongs to Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal of Saudi Arabia. He owns an Airbus A380 private jet with a mind-blowing price tag of 600 million dollars. This 500-meter private jet has been furnished according to the needs and configuration of the Prince. It accommodates its Turkish bath, a giant concert hall, its own garage space for storing lavish cars, stable for transporting horses and camels, and whatnot. Let’s have a tour inside the Airbus A380 to check out how this private jet is the epitome of endless luxuriousness.

The Airbus A380 was purchased by the prince for 400 million dollars. An extra of 200 million dollars was spent on the furnishing and rebuilding of the interior of the jet. This gave the Airbus A380 a total value of 600 million dollars. This jet remains the most luxurious aircraft of all time as it consists of almost everything you need. The Airbus A380, initially designed to fly eight hundred people, was revamped to serve just one man. The interior was designed by the famous interior designer Edèse Doret, a private jet and mega-yacht designer. Doret kept the personal preferences and choices of Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal under close consideration while designing the interior.

The jet consists of three floors. In case the prince is too tired to climb the staircase he can easily use the glass-made elevators to shift between different floors. These elevators take the Prince directly to his bedroom.
Talking about bedrooms, the Airbus A380 has five bedrooms. You heard that right! Five king-sized bedrooms to cater to the needs of the Prince’s guests. The process of designing the interior included a 1-seater dining table for the Prince and his guests. This is no ordinary dining table, as it has a gold finish border rendered in a soothing tone. The chairs are made of chrome, and there is a glass chandelier in the middle. It is just a fraction of what the interior consists of. Adjacent to the dining table, there is a big lounge area bragging three sofas, a chair, a shiny coffee table with attractive colors, which brings out the best of the interior. There are also hidden light fixtures to give off a complete aesthetic vibe. This $600 million private jet also boasts a state-of-the-art Turkish bath with gold plated finishes.

There is an illuminating nook in the divider to hold the owner’s motor yacht. Last but not least, there is a huge prayer room in the private jet built specifically for the owner. The prayer mat has a special functionality that automatically rotates towards Mecca no matter what the jet’s direction is. The sophistication and the elegance of the Saudi Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal are shown in this private jet. Especially in his country Saudi Arabia, he lives a very lavish life. He instructed the designer of the private jet to construct a garage so that he can store his luxurious masterpieces, also known as his supercars. His diamond-encrusted Rolls Royce is not supposed to sit in the home country, the diamonds need to be shown to the world. This Rolls-Royce Phantom cost him 2.1 million dollars, and he always prefers to roll in this British-engineered luxury no matter where he is. The Prince takes all of his cars with him everywhere he goes so he can always move in style.

Each detail was kept under consideration during the design and construction process of the jet. There was a dire need for the conference room and a business room that can make a holographic picture of the friends and family of Prince, so the Airbus designers made sure there was massive use of technology. During the initial design process of the aircraft, the chief designer said, “it is something really special; there is nothing like this out in the market yet” he continued, “there is everything a billionaire wants in this aircraft. “The aircraft is tailored to the needs of many people, and the point is not to make the aircraft another hotel or palace,” he added. This statement is reflected in the Turkish bath and a steam room.

On the main deck of the private jet, you will find the crew facilities, and the business center of the jet. Along with this, you will find a magnificent cockpit from where the jet is being controlled. The other amenities on this level are a relaxation place and an ultra-luxurious dining area. There comes a time when you are bored during the flight. No problem at all, as this luxurious jet has an onboard concert hall with 10 seats to entertain the prince and his guests on the go.
