Baccarat SuperYacht World prize goes to Heesen’s 50-metre
The 2017 Baccarat SuperYacht World Trophy was presented this evening to the captain on behalf of the owner of the new 50-metre Heesen Home at the Monaco Yacht Show yesterday evening. The award celebrates not only an incredible yacht packed with ground-breaking technology, but also the work of the Heesen yard, which has been at the forefront of superyacht development and innovation in the past decade.
The elegant crystal Trophy, an impressive blue sail created by the craftsmen at Baccarat, was presented by SuperYacht World editor Hugo Andreae aboard the yacht in front of a gathering of owners and industry heads.
“Home is the first superyacht to pair the innovative Fast Displacement Hull Form with hybrid propulsion, offering both fuel efficient and quiet cruising possibilities,” says Hugo Andreae, editor of SuperYacht World. “She is a wonderful example of how Heesen can create a bespoke yacht around an owner’s demanding wishlist.”
“Baccarat is proud to award this trophy to the outstanding Heesen Home, a symbol of innovation, excellence and uniqueness – values shared by Baccarat,” says Sophie Cotelle, lighting and furniture business unit vice president.
