AMIR KHAN WATCH ROBBED AT GUNPOINT IN LONDON ! £72,000 Luxury Watch Robbed From His Wrist!

Former world boxing champion Amir Khan has revealed that he and his wife Faryal Makhdoom were robbed at gunpoint while they were out in London on Monday night.

Khan said the incident happened in East London where he had a gun pointed at his face as two assailants threatened him and his wife before demanding that the boxer hand over his watch. Faryal and Khan have been married since 2013 and have three children together. It is not the first time the Bolton-born fighter has been subjected to such a terrifying ordeal. In 2018, he revealed how he had had to fight off an armed gang trying to steal his £100k Range Rover six years earlier.

“It was really scary because I knew my life was on the line,” he said at the time. “When you are in a situation like that you have to react quickly or you are going to get hurt. There were about 20 guys, all with metal bars.

“I remember the first guy swinging this metal stick at my head but luckily he missed. He tried a second time and I countered him. He was out cold. Then another guy came at me but I was able to tackle him as well.

“Then the three of us [Amir, his boxer brother Haroon and another man] drove off as fast as we could. People might say I was a coward for running away but I am happy I did, because I am still here. Those guys were big and out to hurt me.” Khan, who was a silver medallist at lightweight at the 2004 Olympics before turning professional and eventually moving up to middleweight, attracted criticism in 2020 for showing off a £100k watch he had just bought – a Richard Mille 32 designer timepiece. They ran up to him and pointed a gun in his face as his wife, 30, stood a few steps behind. The thugs snatched his £72,000 Franck Muller Vanguard Chronograph before speeding off in a car.

Khan said revealed the ordeal on Twitter – and assured fans he and his Faryal were both safe. The 19 carat rose gold Franck Muller Vanguard watch, worth £72,000, is studded with hundreds of diamonds master of complications Hours earlier Amir was pictured with a fan in Oxford Street wearing one of his luxury watches And he was also wearing it in an Instagram post from a charity bash at the Grosvenor House Hotel the night before.

It raised fears the crooks may have targeted Khan specifically. An eyewitness told The Sun the Olympic medallist boxer was shaken up by the ordeal. #AmirKhan #franckmuller #watches
