Join Jack Haines from YachtBuyer for a full yacht tour of the 75m (246ft) Amels 242 Casino Royale, a luxury superyacht from the Dutch shipyard Amels, part of the Damen Yachting group. In this video Jack explores one of the largest yachts at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, walking through the decks, accommodation and technical spaces while explaining how the Limited Editions platform works. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines producing around 2,700hp each, this steel-hulled displacement yacht combines long-range capability with a highly customised owner-focused layout.
On deck, Casino Royale delivers the kind of outdoor spaces you expect from a yacht of this scale. The sun deck features a hot tub surrounded by sunpads and seating areas, while the bridge deck offers a relaxed dining and lounge setup with a bar and barbecue. Further down, the main deck aft is dominated by a large swimming pool with counter-current jets, creating a natural gathering point during the day. One of the most unusual features on board is the bridge deck nightclub, complete with a floating bar and tablet-controlled lighting system.
Inside, the yacht centres around a full private owner’s deck rather than just a master suite. The forward-facing owner’s stateroom sits at the heart of this level and is paired with separate his-and-hers bathrooms, dressing areas and a private office. The owner’s deck also includes a lounge, bar and circular dining table, along with access to an aft terrace with a fire pit.
Guest accommodation is arranged across six cabins for up to 12 guests, including two VIP suites and additional double and twin cabins on the lower deck. Guests on this level are also directly connected to a large wellness area with a spa, gym, sauna, steam room and sea access via a drop-down platform. She has a crew of around 19 supporting operations, along with a tender garage housing a limo tender, RIB and four jet skis.
