Table Settings on Private Jet
In this episode, we discuss place settings onboard a private/business jet. Standard placements on nesting tables for one or two people, and conference tables for four people, including salt and pepper, flatware, napkin, and various beverage placements.
Setting a table seems basic however, many of the etiquette standards do not work onboard a business jet and yet, there are some rules that rule. Besides dealing with limited tabletop space, another challenge is we can only access our clients from one side in the cabin, preventing a synchronized service. Therefore, this hurdle often tricks our brains, resulting in place settings being set inconsistently or completely backwards. Unfortunately, we see this all too often on CFA posted reels and photos and if we are noticing the errors, most likely, so are your clients.
Learning how to set a proper table onboard, is one of the first steps of inflight service standards.

** The “How To…” Tutorials are designed as cabin service standards (“the basics”) onboard business and private jets however, many of these standards can certainly be elevated, as well as implemented at home.
