I swear to sweet baby Jesus this is my last Rolex, Patek Philippe, Watches & Finances style of video. I don’t want to become “THAT” YouTuber. But I have more thoughts. I keep seeing videos telling people to “buy the dip” “now is the time to buy that watch on the secondary market” … And to be quite honest with you… It is the exact opposite of how I am preparing for this winter and the beginning of 2023.
Don’t buy the dip for 4 reasons:
1. WATCHES ARE NOT ASSET INVESTMENTS AND SHOULD NOT BE SEEN AS SUCH
2. THIS ADVICE ONLY HOLDS WATER FOR MILLIONAIRES
3. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND PEOPLE BUY WATCHES OVER RETAIL
4. SUCKERS RALLY ON THE WAY
But hey, these are just my thoughts and what James and I are doing to prepare for the recession and how our watch purchasing habits are changing for the coming times. What do you think to all of this?!
