Vontobel has come out with a Swiss Watch Industry report and some of the number and figures are shocking: OMEGA is down in a big way, Rolex is increasing sales whilst also producing fewer watches; and the premium luxury trend continues with AP overtaking OMEGA and Patek Philippe also overtaking. OMEGA has fallen a lot further than I was expecting. I knew Audemars Piguet was going to overthrow them this year for 3rd place – but I didnt know OMEGA figures were going to be as low as they are.
